I have just found that i cannot get my Nex-7 with adapter and Minolta 50mm 1.4 in the pocket of my new coat.

Am i correct in thinking that when/if there is a FF Nex i will be able to put the legacy lenses on the Nex-7 with a much smaller adapter??

Though it would probably be cheaper to buy a new coat with bigger pockets.

The adapters do not change for FF or APS-C lenses. Both A and E mounts allow FF sensors and lenses to be used.

A classic example of a small full-frame lens that was formerly considered very poor when introduced for FF film cameras of the 70's and 80's, is the Minolta MD 45mm f2, a very small pancake lens, weighing only 120 gms. Solid as a rock construction as with most Minolta lenses. It was too small for those big cameras and got a bad reputation. Wouldn't  you know it, it is an excellent performer on NEX and m43 cameras!
