Does anyone know where I can find RAW-files of studio portraits taken with the m43 system?
Or maybe someone willing to share such a file...?
Thanks!
you have complete control over lighting and contrast in a studio so why bother shooting RAW?

is that a joke? as a professional studio photographer i can tell you that i don't know a single studio pro who doesn't shoot in RAW. honestly, your assertion that jpegs are just fine is so wrong that i don't even know where to begin.
the Hasselblad studio guys with their Kodak CCD backs are shooting RAW, but not OM-d studio photographers.
He is asking specifically about u 4/3 photographers.
I doubt any body shooting the OM-d in a studio setting is shooting RAW.
it doesn't seem like you've spent much time in a pro studio. the reason i'm currently in this forum is because one of the photographers i shared a studio with recently was shooting with an om-d and i fell in love and i want one for personal use...awesome little cam with great image quality. and yes, he was shooting raw. raw is a must in the studio. no pro - and certainly no creative director - would ever willingly accept a file with as little post latitude as a jpeg. everyone working for a commercial client needs to be able to make extensive adjustments in photoshop, whether they do it themselves or hand it over to the client's creative team. exposure, contrast, custom tone curves, colour, masks, layers, etc....raw is not optional. not if you want to be hired again.
from my brief experience, om-d raw files are very nice. i do not have any expertise at processing them -- and that always has a steep learning curve -- but it feels like they are a good match for my d2x and d700. the d800 will be my main studio cam come the new year and i do not expect the om-d to match it, but it is a very, very capable studio cam...which means raw!
while i cannot share raw files, ming thein's flickr thread contains multiple studio shots with the om-d. since he only shoots in raw, you can guess they are representative of what one can achieve once they have familiarized themselves with the files.

that photographer to share one of his RAW OM-D studio photographs with us?
I am sure he has a test photo of you that you would be willing to release!
