I think those last two cameras really haven't been out long enough to gather any sort of a following.

I'm surprised the RX100 isn't doing better considering how much people rave about it in the compact sector.

I am even more surprised that 55% of votes (when writing this) are given to FF cameras, considering according to this forum FF cameras are seeming so large that they are completely unusable and always at home.

Yeah, I always get a laugh when I read digs like "boat anchor", and "too heavy", etc.  The whole idea of an SLR when it was released years ago was small size vs other camera systems of the day (Speed Graphic, LF and MF), and fast performance.  Now in the age of seemingly endless miniaturization, we are expected to believe that DSLRs are actually not small, portable cameras, but "heavy boat anchors". When I'm out in the field, 80% of the time, my tripod is holding my gear, so there is little reason for me to carry a Pentax Q.

Also 55% is quite good seeing that according to this forum they are of format that is dying off.

Well 55% is not surprising for those cameras, I mean, the 5D3, D800/E, D600, 6D and A99 is one heck of a great lineup.

But no, FF is obviously not dying off if you judge by the auctions on Ebay, where almost ever bit of FF gear has dozens upon dozens of bids.  It's the same for APS-C where every bit of quality gear generates tons of interest.
