Sigma 35mm 1.4 Anyone considering it?

I handled it in one of my local camera shops for both the Canon and Nikon mount....awesome lens.  I recently became a Sony convert and this is the first lens I ordered for my new a99.  I became impatient and emailed Sigma with regards to its availability for Alpha mount and I got a response stating late January....Luckily I had a 24-70 Zeiss just delivered today to keep me occupied until then.:-)
