My full gimbal mount permits adjustments in both fore/aft and vertical axis'. In my experience, you need both of these adjustments to make the camera and lens perfectly balanced.

I have never used a Lensmaster gimbal mount, and maybe I am looking at the photos in your link wrong, but I don't see a vertical adjustment on either mount. This would be a deal breaker for me.

Note that the center of gravity of the camera/lens combination does not necessarily pass through the center of the lens.
