Photographer's Opinon on Photography Contract?

Your photographer is saying she can use your photo's without a model release for commercial purposes? This is like using bridal pictures for commercial purposes without the couples consent... This would be a weird thing (where I live).

Copyright in my opinion would mean she has the right to charge you for them if you use them in additional publications, however she does not have the right to use them for other commercial purposes as there is no model release, even though she has the copyright. If she had the model release it would be different...next time I would put in a clause of exclusive use, to avoid a competitor using an image in a scandalous way as well (I work in a competitive business )
