Minolta manual focus on Sony alpha
Dec 21, 2012

I have a Sony a77 for my main body.

My Father-in-Law has given me his collection of Minolta manual focus equipment to sell. I get half of the profit, so I can buy any of the lenses to use on my a77 for about 1/2 of market value. Here are the lenses that I have available to me.

1. Minolta MD Rokkor-X  50mm f1.7

2. Minolta MD Tele Rokkor-X  135mm f2.8

3. Minolta MC W.Rokkor-SI  28mm f2.5

Does any one have experience with any of these (especially the 28mm f2.5)?

Also, how far out can a Minolta manual lens focus on an Alpha without an infinity focus converter? I do not yet have a converter.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Sony SLT-A77
