Is your 35mm 1.4's f stop easy to turn or hard to turn?

But.. when I first got it then lens was perfect..    I have been to the ocean with it a few times now and suspect that I have a tiny bit of grit in there now..  sometimes it's a bit hard to turn but always seems to free itself up after a few brisk turns full stop either way..
