Possible BIG problem 16-50 with Nex 6!

..................to keep it as simple as possible .....why is "WoodWorks" who has posted photos here having the EXACT problem I am having?

It has nothing to do with different focus points. All pictures taken via autofocus are less sharp than by manual focus. All I am trying to do is find out why.

I don't have an answer yet but I will keep testing other scenarios.
