add magnification to 14-42 panasonic lens

When i add magnification lens (2x) to my 14-42 lens on Panasonic G3, the wide angle becomes small and also cannot take any snaps on the magnified view.

Need help on how to connect and take snaps after adding 2x magnification lens to 14-42 lens.
