There seems to be no video performance interest of cameras in this forum...

Yet, video is highly valued among customers of DSLRs (a camera that doesn't offer it is a "dead duck") and makers, develop it (as an offer) more than than they do stills... It is also where Nikon suffers from competition (due to much less background) and seems to try hard for catching up....

Sony seems to have catch the "market pulse" with their VG series (now vg30 & vg900) that can also shoot stills in raw... Aren't there any video/cine creative ambitions among Nikon users? Nikon seems to have the best lens availability for creative video with their older AI/AI-s superb lenses!

I am now highly considering (after hard training of personnel in "Fotometria") with the D800s, to change the video cameras we use (all of them Panasonic 151E), to Sony VG30 and use our plenty of Nikkor lenses via adapters on them.... I am just waiting to also try D5200... I 've already listed the Panasonics (nothing to blame them for, but sensor size, which highly limits creativity), ...the "cinema" look is now among our priorities for the future.
