To be honest I'd say that integrated WiFi (as seen in Samsungs' NX-series) is a far more interesting new feature that finally is being adopted.

The Lytro cameras from 2011 for example. Those were innovative (perhaps a little too much, but they tried ...).
It's sad to see we're back to comparing one boring incremental update to another.

Smartphones with quality sensors are becoming far more dangerous if the industry remains this stagnant.
