In praise of the OM-D

I agree. I'm no Olympus fanboy (I briefly owned an E-3 system didn't like the noise, menus or system weight, had an OM-4Ti system in the 1990s, loved the compactness and handling but hated the unreliability) and have otherwise always owned other brands, in both film and digital. But I'm firmly of the view that the E-M5 is a very good camera, on the basis that it's the first digital camera to combine compactness, excellent IQ, great features and excellent handling. In particular I think the impressive dynamic range and the ability to drive all the key variables from the two control dials make it a true photographer's camera.
