4/3 Lenses will certainly be usable, but this kind of is the death knell for the format, in that you will probby not see any new lenses manufactured (much less developed) in this mount.

The good news is that they have made an announcement that will put an end to the speculation about an E-7.

Now the speculation on the hybrid will take off. Nonsensical to believe it could provide both an OVF and EVF. It will have an EVF and be able to AF FT lenses.

While I have gone the Nikon FX path and am keeping FT as a more portable second system, it more or less fits to potentially get a somewhat smaller body for the lenses.

This is a business decision that anticipates the shrinking size of the DSLR market that will result from the mirrorless systems.
