D800 w/ 24-70 f2.8 or 50 f1.4 for Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood?

I'm going to Disneyland and Universal Studios this weekend and plan to bring my D800, but what I can't decide on is which lens to bring. 24-70 f2.8 or 50 f1.4?

24-70 f2.8 will be more versatile and 24 can come in handy for sleeping beauty's castle and the fireworks. However, this lens is fairly heavy and bulky in comparison. I'm planning on going onto rides, so the extra weight and size may also make it easier to get bumped around.

50 f1.4 of course is a lot lighter and smaller. But will I miss any critical shots because of the lack of a wider angle?
