Samsung Note ll v Iphone 5

Lots of my friends who use iphones are turning to the new Samsung galaxy note 2.
My flatmate has the Note 2....and i must admit it looks impressive....large screen,very fast, lots of internal goodies.
Any opinions.....preferably somebody who has tried both.
