As I said, I've owned lots of cameras. They all had things I wanted or I would not have bought them, but they have not all got rave reviews by any means, people used to moan at me for my lack of GH2 enthusiasm (I'm always amazed by people who have this need to say whatever they own is "the best").

Isn't that what you're doing right here. And no offense, just an observation, but your camera history is largely olympus... not even a hint of fanboyism?

In the MFT world, I've bought three Pannys and two Olys (GF1 as a present, which impreesed me enough to buy a G1 for me, which impressed me enough to get a GH2, which impressed me enough to sell my FF Nikon, and then to pick up an E-PM1 and later an OM-D, which is impressing me enough to sell the FF lenses I kept). So, no, basically.
In the dSLR world, I biught an E500, which was a nice simple camera, used (but did not buy) a 5D a lot, switched to an E330 for live view, and traded up to an E3. Then I switched away to a Nikon D3. So less of a no, but still.
And in the digital world, before I switched to an ILC, I had a Canon G something (4?).
So 2 Canons, 1 Nikon, 3 Panasonic, 5 Oly. Hardly a Fanboy.

If I say something is good, it's good. And if I say it is just OK, it is just OK. I tell it like it is - I do not identify with my camera.

And your opinion on cameras is gospel and applies to everyone does it?

Yes, as much as it can, because I temper it with an understanding that what works for me isn't what works for everyone.

[edit - oh, I missed one, an E1 - but I never liked that camera, and only picked it up because it was cheap, Eva wanted a camera, and she could use my lenses, so I don't count it, it did not express any personal taste]
[edit - oh, and a Panasonic L1, again for pennies, to keep in the car]
