C5050Z vs. E20
May 7, 2003

Our agency has been very happy with the C2500L we have had for several years - I believe it was the best prosumer Olympus TTL available at the time. We are now planning to increase resolution, and have identified the C5050Z and E20 as the two main options. Has anyone here had experience with both cameras? Any real pro's or con's to these two models?

Also, can you elaborate on what the practical limitation the E20's limit of 1/600 shutter speed is without interlacing, and what the difference in quality is between interlaced and non-interlaced photos?

The E20 seems to elicit either strong support or similarly strong disappointment, depending on where you read the reviews - any comments?

Your response is appreciated.
