Surprise! New patent for 35mm film SLR to digital... Why not interchangeable sensor instead?

This looks a bit outdated no....? Why do they consider that now, for a solution that is much more expensive than the interchangeable sensor on a modern body solution?

Obviously, with the significant drop in FF sensors cost (due to the much expanded FF sensor camera market/production) and with the quality of modern processors, interchangeable sensor would make much more sense than interchangeable back..., modern processors may not make full justice of future sensors, but there are people that are fully satisfied with current IQ/speed and the flexibility of the body would be unmatchable at a much decreased cost than being forced to use multiple cameras with different sensors, for different tasks! Even current sensors would benefit from future body and processor upgrade!
