Hi Alan here

just got my 650D after canon adjusted it for me (about 2/3 stop towards underexposure)

after 20 shots around home ...its great now meters like my 5d2 and all previous canons i've had

si if your 650D is still tending to overexposure send it to canon to get the same adjustment done

ALL previous canon cameras i've owned 20D 30D 50D 5D (now 5d2 and 650D) metered fine at 0EV

as ALL cameras should as this is your average tone setting and we then EC from there for correct exposure

Some of ther reviews i've read say the 650D has a tendancy to overexposure

if you don't get it changed by canon

TRY (on greens and blur sky ie medium (average) tone

1.  set camera to -1/3 EV

2. set camera to -1/2 EV

3.set camera to -2/3 EV

use whatever gives you the beat out of camera results and use use EC form that point

good luck !!
