How many times have you returned a lens after purchasing, and why?

I've returned them twice, I tried 3 copies of the Sigma 50mm 1.4, none worked right. They all went back and I gave up.

One Nikon 70-200 2.8II, box was badly destroyed because Amazon failed to package it properly. Got another one and it was good.
