Hi Iliah. Good to see you here - and yes, what you say is true. All raw converters are NOT created equal and some have been known to blow a channel or two while keeping one or two with some data. I am sure you know a ton more about this then 99.999% of the posters here.

With Adobe's more recent greedy decisions, the field of raw converters is becoming even more open.
