The first thing that you need to take into consideration is that if you are using one in TTL and the other in Manual, you may get over-exposures due to the two flashes using different modes.

the second thing is that if the Seagull is an optical slave, it will most likely fire the Sunpak when the Metz does the pre-flash

Best to use both flashes in Manual Mode. You can still use the Metz flash in TTL on the camera without using the Sunpak.
