That is not how Nikons work.
A simply Typo I meant left hand side of course.
Notice the difference of the left hand side? The 6D has 2 buttons there. One is the menu button, the other info (which you hardly use during shooting).
The Nikon has 7 buttons on the left hand side. One is the menu button. To change WB settings, ISO settings, and during image review, you keep having to use your left hand. Not so with the Canon. That is what the OP is talking about, really.

What do you mean by that? All Canon DSLRs have a proper mirror lock up mode (which is not the case with all Nikon DSLRs). Maybe you mean it can be activated via that shooting mode dial?
The Canon implementation is better. You can use the mirror lock up even with the 10 second self timer. Anyhow, both will need to left had to activate mirror lock-up.

Far superior to Canon's button amazed Sony followed this (but not that shocked as they can't do handling as well as Minolta did)
You can instantly see what drive mode you are in, and far quicker to change mode too.
Excellence in handling is not something open to much debate this just works much better
