The best is to try it with your own lenses. Different focal lengths must have different perspective when the subject is kept at the same size in the frame.

And the same perspective if you stay at the same spot, so that the subject is bigger (for increasing focal length) in the image.

Keep the camera on a fixed tripod and go through wide, normal and long lenses. The perspective is exactly the same as you get from cropping the shot with the wide lens, but cropping gives lower quality.
