EF or EF-S lenses for Canon 650D

Hi there,

I have a Canon 650d with the 18-135 USM lens. New to DSLR and just getting used to it all.

Would like to buy another lens to get a bit nearer to subjects. Maybe 80-300 or similar.

Can you please tell me if I need to look at Canon EF lenses or Canon EF-S lenses. ( Will the EF lenses work ok on the 650d or is there a compatibility issue ? )
