Fujifilm gets two entries, the XF1 and X10. Despite some praise, neither rises to the very top and gets a recommendation.
Perhaps with the X20/XF2 they will get it right.

Yeah, let's hope for the best, at least the IQ of Sony's RX-100 with some retro-porn thrown in for geezers like myself. BTW, what did they mean by "The X10's full resolution images simply can't compete with the detail that MOST of its rivals are able to capture" ? I really had to read that twice.
The EXR sensor is just not a high resolution sensor even when shot at "full strength". The filter layout produces weird artifacts that hamper sharpness. It gets even worse as ISO values rise. Fujifilm was able to get away with this in the past as compacts were not very high resolution cameras. But they are quickly getting crushed now that cameras like the RX100 has hit the scene. Fujifilm has got to take their game up a notch of get swept aside. 6 megapixels is not going to cut it much longer.
On a side note ...regarding the X10's RAW output DPR still haven't replaced the overly soft studio shot they've squeezed out of their totally inadequate standard ACR routine. Shame shame DPR !

Yeah Ratty, we talked about that a while ago, both of us wouldn't want to see an EXR revival in the X11/20 but opt for a Bayer CFA. And no doubt whatsoever that the X10 can't hold a candle to the RX-100 IQ wise (resolution, noise, ...) BUT 'MOST OF ITS RIVALS' ? as they've mentioned in their roundup ... plain bollocks.
