Re: Best outdoor soccer lens for a GX1

I've taken a lot of soccer shots at the high school level, where they're playing on a full-size field, and find the Panasonic 45-175mm to be just about perfect. I've been using it on an OM-D so I haven't had a chance to test its OIS, but I hear it's pretty good and would help a lot on a GX1.
You could go longer (100-300mm), but I think I'd find that lens a bit TOO long at times. The beauty of the 45-175mm is that 45mm is just about right when you're standing on the sideline taking pictures of action near you.
One other thing: the 45-175mm is very light, and would couple well with a GX1. Some of the longer lenses, or the 45-200mm, are a lot heavier and would be more tiring to hold for a long time. Not so with the 45-175mm.
