How really is FX better....

Still, both are much much larger than Nikon's film cameras of the same calibre. If you choose Ai/pre-Ai,AiS or AFD lenses, size isn't an issue. AFS sizes are the issue, often more than double the volume of AiS lenses of the same focal length and speed. Nikon's lenses get bigger and bigger every year.
