Obligatory Cat Test Shot with 85mm MF lens and focus confirmation

Finally got around to get an F-mount to EOS mount adapter (with focus confirmation chip) to try my old Nikkor pre-Ai lenses on my Canon EOS 450D.
First quick experiments with my Nikkor-H 50mm f2 are not too encouraging (focus confirmation wise), but the Nikkor-H 85mm f1.8 looks to be a lot more promising. I suspect that some aberrations are at play with the 50mm f2, fooling the AF system, but further tests (when the light is better) should make things more clear.
In the mean while, this 85mm f1.8 seems to still be a rather nice lens... At least at moderate distances, its bokeh looks smoother that I expected. And the focus confirmation is quite close to focus.
Since I do not own a cat myself, I used a neighbour's cat for the obligatory cat test shot:
