I have 5d3 and 135L is best for portraits... 100 is as somebody else said not as nice bokeh, slower AF, feels less well made..etc... but does have IS (which I don't find helpful for most portraits as subject is probably moving....).

However, my current fav lens for portraits is 72isii....
