The default silkypix jpgs look great to me.

I'll probably give iA a run at first, to learn a bit about how the camera thinks, and to check its out-of-box intelligence.

You may just like the camera as is jpgs especially with the NR and sharpness set to -2. Try these settings in p mode with and without ires or izoom turned on. The jpgs are great with these settings.

Yes, up to 400 ISO I am most likely to do something like that, but the SP Pro 5 option sounds attractive for dim light action etc.
