Surf's up...SX50 HS

We've been hiding out during a couple of major Pacific storms moving through the past couple of days. The sun briefly peeked out and I went to Yaquina Head to check out the "high surf warning" issued by NOAA. Yup. High for here.

Late afternoon after a day of winds (up to 80 mph nearby in the early morning) and rain.



A hailstorm with high winds caught me up on the top of Yaquina Head shortly before this sunny scene.



IS was challenged by ~60 mph winds blowing me and camera around.



For a day with high winds and lots of rain this looked remarkably calm in the viewfinder.

Raws converted to DNG and processed in RawTherapee.
