RX-1 off-focus!! (or are my eyes blurry)

Are you getting focus confirmation with the green dot in the lower left corner of the display?  In test shooting I am finding that if no green dot the image may or may not be in focus but with a green dot it is virtually always in focus.  I tested fast shooting varying subject distance and contrast and slower methodical shooting and either way with a green dot the image was in focus and sharp.  With the EVF is it easy to see the focus box so you can use that as an indicator but the green dot will also show in the viewfinder.  If you are getting focus confirmation but your images are not in focus then the camera has a defect and I would send it back.  A review on Digilloyd.com of the camera and lens illustrates the many positive attributes of the camera and a few of the shortcomings.  The latter could mostly be fixed in firmware if Sony decides to do so.
