Hello -

No! Not uncomfortable, but it takes a little getting used to.  Of necessity I am a left eye viewer and I agree with a previous poster that in bright light conditions it is better to cup my left hand around the side to block unwelcome light.  There is a considerable gap due to 'stand off' through wearing spectacles which can lead to framing difficulties unless the light is blocked.
