Why are there no good AF 50mm lenses available for Nikon?

That's the sort of question you just asked. The only bad thing about the Nikon f1.4G is that it focuses slowly... but it still will beat the focusing speed of a manual lens. Leaving the Sigma 50 f1.4 out because it's too big sounds like a preference thing rather than a determination of whether it's "good" which generally means sharp wide open and nice bokeh for lenses of this type.
