What's the best choice between the legacy 18-200 and the new 18-200LE?

I'm certain this has been discussed before, but couldn't find anything definitive (to the extent there is such a thing!) in these forums.  I'm looking at getting and NEX 6 and want one of the super-zooms to come along for the ride.  The difference is only $50.  It seems that it may be a choice of slightly better optics and video stabilization for the old lens vs. shape and weight for the new?
