The reviews have said something to that effect I believe. You can always compensate by just upping the exposure by 0.3 or 0.7. I've read that's what a few people do (I do 0.3 myself).

I just noticed the ISO limitation myself this past weekend while shooting in a super dark restaurant. I ended up shooting in manual and assume assume there's no way to change the ISO/aperture limitations imposed by the camera in shutter/aperture mode
