Extreme birding,G5 and 100-300
Dec 17, 2012

Birders let me show you the G5 and 100-300. This is not a demonstration of a good bird photograph so no need to tell me that it's rubbish

This is a Grey Plover at full 300mm, F7.1 ISO400, very weak winter sun, OOC JPG

One for the dustbin the subject is just a little short of frame filling as you can probably see. Quite pleasing to get such good focus because as everybody tells you m4/3s won’t do BIFs, This isn’t pot luck I’m doing this repeatedly

Demo works better if you press the full size buiton

But before I ditched it a quick crop. Not bad a little bit of noise

A quick run through NEAT Image, not bad at all considering what I started with

One last crop. Well it won’t make the magazine shelves but that’s one hell of a crop of a fast moving bird
