Panasonic LX& recieved --- what is the sweet spot in terms of aperture...

Left ISO alone and at 90/2.5 pics seemed better (w/out flash in iA) than 24/1.4 surprisingly.   Presume 1.4 is not the sweet spot.

Any suggestions, please let this newbie know.

(Still $299 at B&H --- just called.)
