OM-D won't trigger strobes

Hi, I'm trying to get the OM-D to sync with my studio strobes.  I'm having no joy using my Bowens Pulsar radio triggers or Wein safe sync adapter with a cable.  Any suggestions?  Is there some setting buried in the menus that could be interfering. It's a hire model, so goodness knows how it's been configured!

p.s. The strobes etc. are working fine with other cameras.
