Ken is wrong to me. Each lens has a purpose in my kit....

50 1.8G great for low light and when good bokeh is desired the most. Tight in some working spaces even on full frame.

Tamron 28-75 2.8 great for general use and working in tight spaces. Great for low light when 2.8 is all you need the most. (great for hotel room bridal shots)

80-200 2.8d nikon reach baby reach

85 1.8d amazing low light and portrait lens

40 2.8 macro (on dx for my detail shots)

So I hate when people try to say one lens can fully replace another and leave out fun facts like 1.8 vs 2.8 or creamy bokeh vs non. This is coming from a pro that also thinks you should have a backup to all your gear when shooting weddings. No one thing is rarely the solution and often times they design these things with almost what you need so that you will need to buy more.
