Suppose you are going "birding" with an E-M5/PL5/PM2 with nothing but a super-telephoto lens mounted on-camera, and you'd like to take a few general shots of the scenery, and you have a spare pocket where you can bring EITHER a 15mm f/8 bodycap lens, OR a Canon S100/S110 compact camera (24mm f/2.0, 1/1.7" sensor). If IQ is your most important criteria for those side scenery shots, which one would you bring in the pocket?
I would equate the bodycap lens to a cheap compact at best. It's fairly soft in the middle and quite soft in the corners and lacks contrast. It's pretty fun for what it is, but you'd be way better off with the S100 for what you're looking for.
