Re: Here too, Metz 54.

The Metz 54 works just fine, but:

- It is humongous on the small E-M5

- It requires a bit of +EV (flash EV) for proper exposure, but that is also my experience with the tiny E-M5 clip-on flash so it may not be a property of the Metz flash but conservative metering of the E-M5.

Slowly learning to use the Olympus OM-D E-M5.

So you add some positive EV and it's good to go? No need to make any further changes? Sounds good to me Paul!

My old Nikon D300 and D7000 needed -1.3EV everytime and for people wearing black clothes it needed -2EV! And yet Nikon claims their i-TTL flash metering is the most advanced in the world. It sees colour, measures distance and yadda yadda yadda and yet it can't get exposures right.

Glad it's all behind me now. The OM-D just nails it everytime and really frees me to concentrate on composition.
