14 vs 17 vs 30 vs 45 vs 40-150

Wanted to test my new Sigma 30mm and see how it compared to my other lenses. I think it looks pretty good. Clearly in family with Pan 14 and Oly 17.

For all the repeat offender anti-Oly 17 bashers... especially those who are just participating in internet gang mentality, my Oly 17mm is certainly no worse than the Pan 14 (I'd say it's better!).

Clearly, the Oly 45 is my best lens, but the Oly 40-150 really holds its own at 45mm IMO, especially being a cheap zoom.

Again, this test shows more uncorrected CA from the 17 than from the 14, so why is the 14 so much harder to fix??? I guess it is just the mixture of colors.

CA from the Sigma 30 is much better than from Oly 17 or Pan 14. There is no CA from the 45 and little from the zoom.

Anyway, thought someone might find this useful.
