Point and shoot for £150 ($250)

Hello, our last point andshoot(pentax optio h90) broke almost as soon as i bought it (screen somehow got pressed in) and im looking for a new camera.
There seems to be so many choices its hard to pick anything.
What i want is a well made camera (think im staying away from pentax for now)
Not fussed about zoom because i have a DSLR
Will be used alot indoors
Will be mostly used by my girlfriend on auto who just wants to turn it on, point and shoot.
I can stretch to £200 ($320) if it really is worth it but not for small benefits
Please help, i tried researching cameras but was too overwhelmed with all the choice
