I either convert the raw file with Fuji RFC or use JPG direct. RFC has a 'false outline control' feature that can prevent halos of white or dark edges from forming due to over-sharpening, like what you see in some other camera samples. I find that downsizing an X-Trans file already gives adequate sharpness without further sharpening. Otherwise, a little of smart sharpening in CS will do. Luminocity Sharpening in Gimp is also a great tool. I like it.
