Your V1 and M4/3 photos are artistically pleasing and look good on my 24" LCD!
Don't change anthing if you are happy with the image quality you are getting. As I painfully and finally (?) learned with the current D600 promotion, don't buy anything until you absolutely need it. Being an early adopter, I paid $600+ extra to use it less than 3 months. And, I am still seeing some internal dust after two cleanings with 1600 frames total.
On the other hand, you already know that if you take the same shot with both an MILC and D600 or D800, the FX image quality will be better. So, the question is will the weight and bulk of an FX kit discourage you from taking the camera on hikes and trips? You can't take ANY photos with the camera you leave at home. Also, you can take more kit in terms of lens coverage with the Nikon 1 or M4/3, and at less cost in money and weight.
Personally, I'm asking your question from the opposite direction, comparing the D600 with 24-85VR, and a Canon S100. The S100 does OK in good light, and is easy to carry, but it is hard to use in bright light and doesn't have the image quality I want in low light. In good light without excess contrast, it's image quality looks good compared to the D600 for my normal uses. However, other than small size, the useability in composing, bright light, focusing, adjustability clearly goes to the D600.
On a recent, difficult, 11-mile hike, I took the D600/zoom and got some great photos, but as I was huffing and puffing up endless up-hill switchbacks, I wished for a LOT less weight! (Trekking poles are awesome, by the way.)
I am tempted by the V1 deals, but still not quite convinced I should buy yet, given the possibility of even better deals by years end, and that I wouldn't have a 24mm equivalent FOV with any current lenses. It seems like there are too many compromises with the Nikon 1 system at this time. The new V2, which has about the same price and weight as the new Sony NEX-6 with 16-50 (true, check it out), has several useabillity issues noted on this forum already.
My son took a recent 4-day trip to Iceland. He took about 75 images of landscapes, scenery, groups, food, interiors, etc. with his 8mp iPhone5. He is not a photo hobbyist. I spent an evening processing these images in Lightroom4, cropping, correcting white balance, adjusting highlights, shadows, contrast, sharpening, and so forth with as much care as if I were processing RAW images from the D600. The end result is a very pleasing slideshow to remember his trip, and many of the images are surprising good technically, viewed at HDTV 1920x1040 resolution.
Cheers.
