Is Pan 14-45 sharper than 14-42 or PZ 14-42?

When I bought my GH2 I actually bought it as a kit with a longer lens but now that I'm looking at all the above comments I'm wondering if I shouldn't have something in this range in my kit.  So after reading all the comments I went to check Thom's review of the 14-45 and was surprised to see that he's removed it from his recommended list and replaced it with the 14-42 PZ X for those of us with Pany bodies.

So, anyone want to chime in here but without flaming about Thom...don't need to read that.
