Thank you Dirk, Clayton and Rick, in the last minutes I arrived at the same conclusion (the following quoteI found helped: "All lenses of the same focal length give images of the same size at any given subject distance."), but it's nice to have this confirmed

I was indeed thinking that being the 18-200 made exclusively for a APS-C camera, the indicated focal length had to be "converted" before comparing it with 35mm-capable lenses. This revealed not to be the case.

Question answered, but if anybody has experience with the Minolta AF 75-300/4.5-5.6 D, feel free to let me know if it's worth 40€+shipping+adapter

A Minolta AF 28-80 F3.5-5.6 II would also come with it but that's apparently a very bad lens.. and the camera, a Minolta Maxxum 4 which I'll probably never use...
